I love finding those opportunities to capture a shocking moment. My favorite images are the ones that get the reply, “What is that?,” “How did you get that?” or even “EWW!” from the viewers. The best images are the ones that make you think…whether you are confused or angry..it makes you think. It instantly reminded of a previous one I had taken of baby birds in an abandoned house. I love the contrast between the vibrant pink image of new born humming birds..and the dramatic pose of the dead bird falling out of the nest.

job well done. Though at times photos as the second one can be disturbing, it’s true, and natural. I, too, go out on whims and photograph the “not so normally” photographed. very well put.
